Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is the world's premier motocross circuit, comprised of 17 races of heart-stopping action in some of the largest venues in North America. Every week, the best riders from across the globe, like champions Ryan Villopoto, James Stewart, Chad Reed and Ryan Dungey seek to outrace each other on the sport’s most challenging courses. Featuring tight corners, fast straightaways, challenging rhythm sections, and vertigo-inducing jumps, these tracks pack excitement into every inch of dirt. Villopoto recently won his third consecutive Monster Energy Supercross Championship and has his eyes set on a fourth in 2014.
Monster Energy AMA Supercross will be at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland on January 25. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. with the Main Event starting at 7:00 p.m.
More than 500 truckloads of local dirt will be brought into O.co Coliseum and sculpted into a dirt battleground, complete with jumps that will send riders soaring 70’ in distance and 30’ in height. Over 150 riders, including supercross greats Ryan Villopoto, James Stewart, Chad Reed and more will be vying for spots in their respective division’s Main Events.
During last year’s race in Oakland, eventual champion Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive 450SX Class Main Event win. In Western Regional 250SX Class action, Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen won his first race of the season breaking El Tomac’s three-race win streak.
The Monster Energy Pit Parties averaged 21,000 – plus fans in 2013. With more than 20 interactive displays, the pit party gives fans an inside look at an array of products and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the starts of Monster Energy Supercross.

Practice and qualifying begin at 12:30 p.m. and the Main Event starts at 7:00 p.m. Club Seats are $75 Adult/Child; Gold Circle $45 Adult/Child; Lower View $$35 Adult/Child; Mid-Level $25 Adult/Child; Extreme Value $10 Adult/Child. Fans can also get in to the Pits for FREE from 12:30-6 p.m. Race Day when they recycle a MONSTER Energy Can at the stadium’s pit entrance (valid only with event ticket).
